Questions
Can an online checklist tell me if I have PCOS?
No. A doctor diagnoses PCOS (now called PMOS), usually from your periods, signs of higher androgens such as extra hair or acne, blood tests and sometimes an ultrasound, after ruling out other causes. A checklist helps you notice your signs and prepare for that visit.
What are the common signs of PCOS?
Irregular or missing periods, extra facial or body hair, adult acne, thinning scalp hair, weight gain around the waist, dark velvety skin patches and difficulty getting pregnant. You can have PCOS with only some of these, and at any weight.
Is PCOD different from PCOS?
Many people in India say PCOD for the same condition. Doctors use PCOS, and since May 2026 the new name PMOS. Read: PCOS is now PMOS
Is my information safe?
Your answers stay on your phone unless you ask for a summary. If you do, we keep them for 90 days to send it, never sell them, and delete them sooner if you ask.
What should I do after the checklist?
Book a visit with a gynaecologist or a physician and take your summary with you. If you'd like ongoing support with food and habits, our advisors can tell you about the programs.
