How Femwise Health collects, uses, protects and deletes your personal data, including health information, and how to use your rights under Indian law.

1. Who we are

Femwise Health ("we") runs femwisehealth.com, our WhatsApp channel and our programs. We decide how your personal data is used, which makes us the data fiduciary under Indian law. Contact us at care@femwisehealth.com or our grievance officer (section 10).

2. The short version

We collect only what we need to give you what you asked for. We ask before we collect it. We never sell your data. You can see, correct or delete it, and withdraw your consent, at any time.

3. What we collect, why, and for how long

30 days if you don't join; if you join, as for program health information

We don't collect card or bank details: Razorpay, our payment provider, handles them. We don't record calls or consults. Group classes are recorded showing the dietitian's slides; if you speak in class, your voice may be included. Only your batch can watch class recordings, and we delete them when your program ends. Club check-ins are recorded for members only, and we delete each recording after 90 days.

4. Your consent

Before we collect anything, we show you a short notice saying what we'll collect and why, and ask you to agree. Optional uses, such as weekly tips, have their own unticked box. You can withdraw consent as easily as you gave it: reply STOP on WhatsApp, use the unsubscribe link in any email, use the Privacy tab in My account, or write to care@femwisehealth.com. Withdrawing doesn't affect what we did before, but we may no longer be able to run a program without the information it needs, and we'll tell you if so.

5. Who sees your data

·  Your care team: your dietitian, partner doctor and habit coach see what they need to look after you, and no more. Your health advisor sees what you share on your free call.

·  Other members: in the challenge's WhatsApp group and the club community, other members can usually see the name and phone number you join with, so we ask before adding you.

·  Service providers who work for us: our website host, our WhatsApp messaging provider, our email service, Razorpay for payments, and Google for analytics. They may use your data only to provide their service to us.

·  Advertising cookies, only with your consent: our shop and program pages may use Meta and Google cookies to measure our ads. They are never used on the checklist, the free tools or our articles, and we never share your health answers with advertisers.

·  The law: we share data when the law requires it, such as with a court or a government authority.

We never sell your personal data.

6. Where your data is stored

Our website and, later, our app store data on servers in India where we can. Some providers, such as Google and Meta, may process data outside India, which Indian law allows except to countries the government restricts.

7. How we protect it

We use encrypted connections, give each team member access only to their own clients, require two-factor log-in for everyone who manages the site, and keep access logs. If a breach affects your data, we'll tell you without delay and report it to the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.

8. Your rights

You can ask us for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and who we've shared it with; correct, complete or update it; erase it; withdraw your consent; name someone to act for you if you die or can't act yourself; and complain to us. Write to care@femwisehealth.com with "My data" in the subject. We'll reply within 30 days, and always within the 90 days the law allows. If you're unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

9. Children

Our programs and purchases are for adults aged 18 and over. Anyone can use our free tools without giving personal data. We don't knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18; if you think a child has given us theirs, write to us and we'll delete it.

10. Grievance officer

Grievance officer: name and contact details will be published here before we accept any payment. Until then, write to care@femwisehealth.com. We acknowledge every complaint within 48 hours and resolve it within one month.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change how we use your data in an important way, we'll tell you by email or WhatsApp before the change applies, and update the date at the top.
